Principal's Corner
Dear CSMA Families,
As we reach the midpoint of the school year, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the progress we have made together and share how proud we are of our students and staff.
Academically, our students continue to show meaningful growth. Through intentional instruction, regular assessments, and a strong focus on testing readiness, we are seeing students build skills, confidence, and perseverance. Our teachers consistently use data to guide instruction and ensure that every student is supported and challenged as they work toward excellence.
Just as important as academic achievement is our commitment to students’ social and emotional well-being. Throughout the year, we have focused on helping students develop self-awareness, resilience, and positive relationships. Creating a safe, supportive environment remains a top priority, and we are encouraged by the way our students are growing not only as learners, but as individuals.
We also believe that learning should be engaging and enjoyable. From collaborative classroom experiences to schoolwide activities, we strive to make school a place where students feel connected, motivated, and excited to learn. Having fun while learning helps foster creativity and a genuine love of school.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. As we move into the second half of the year, we remain committed to maintaining high expectations, supporting the whole child, and celebrating both growth and achievement along the way. We look forward to finishing the year strong—together.
Warm regards,
Tom Cunningham, Principal
Tina Peloso-Ulreich, Principal on Special Assignment
